Whenever I’m doing big/many arrangements the realization hits me that that if I was in the floral industry, logistics would be my biggest challenge! Transporting something as perishable and delicate as flowers is so tricky. If I did a course in this area, logistics is what I would focus on.

There’s ONE Alpine Glow Zinnia in there. They’re just starting to flower and are horribly crowded by the dahlias and cosmos. Then there’s #dahliapolka #daybreakdahlias #cafesulaitrose #dahliawizardofoz , some pastel snapdragons punctuated by #queenannslaceflower

The #dinnerplatedahlias all had very short stems so they’re sitting at the base and not very visible. I know it’s good to cut dahlias really deep because firstly you get nice long stems, and secondly it encourages the plant to send out long shoots. But so far, I’ve never had the courage to do that 😅 always looking to save the buds, so I end up with short stems. Maybe if I had a whole field of dahlias….. 🌸🌸 🤔
