Bows & Arrows

Bows + Arrows is dedicated to the creation of beauty via the art of floral design. The husband and wife team, led by Alicia Rico, work with the environment, gathering inspiration from the landscape and working with seasonal flora. Their philosophy is found in nature and the couple’s work is a reflection of what is natural, lush, relaxed and overgrown.

Alicia earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from TCU with an emphasis in painting. Her formal art training informs decisions of composition, color, and texture and she gathers constant inspiration from nature, art, and everything beautiful. She worked with flowers in New York City for 3 years before moving back to Texas to open a studio with her husband.

Adam Rico earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute with an emphasis in painting. During his undergraduate career, he studied intensive courses on color theory, sculpture, and ceramics. He worked as a photo shoot producer for 5 years in both Los Angeles and New York City. He followed his wife back to Texas to start a business based around nature and art.
